Nice visit and tasting with Loic and a young Hugel (Marc?) a year ago. Today, back in California, enjoyed the Dry Muscat we brought home, with Asparagus and Shrimp Risotto, Heaven!

어머니 모시고 여행갔다가 우연히 와이너리가 보여서 평점 보고 들어갔었어요.

응대는 매우 친절했고 아마 비성수기여서 그런지 손님은 저희 밖에 안보이긴 했구요.

리즐링을 시음하도록 해주셨는 데 와인 싫다고 외치던 어머니께서 맛있다고 계속 더 드시더군요.

가족과 직장 동료들에게 줄 와인 여러병 구매 하였고 가격도 생각보다 많이 저렴했어요.

전 술을 별로 인좋아해서 사실 와인에 큰 관심은 없는 데, 주변 평가들 보면 좋은 와인 같았습니다.

친절한 응대와 품질 좋은 와인을 저렴한 가격에 구입할 수 있어서 만족했습니다.

Staff were rude and dismissive of our group. Perhaps they had a long day? Maybe they don't like tourists? We had a small group of 6 wine loving friends who came to the region for the very purpose of tasting and buying in multiple places. This was our one and ONLY stop in this town for wine, and we were treated poorly and with contempt.

While we did end up with a tasting, and we did buy some wine. Not as much as we could have or would have, because the staff were so rude!!! The experience was ruined by poor staff service and rudeness. We're an easy group to appease. In fact, many of us have lived in Europe collectively over 30 years. We know wine, we know customs, we have manners, and we know when we've been treated poorly versus misunderstandings. I'm sad because I've had to write this out and give a poor review.

It's a tourist town, it's a wine tasting room, be sure to hire good people! We took home cases of wine from other places. We live close enough to recommend people and travel back. We will not be recommending this place or revisiting.

This vignoble seems to be overrated. The staff was ok, speaking English which was nice. The wines are expensive, just one was special. You can make far better choice in Alzace.

Famille Hugel is a must if you love the wines of Alsace. We had an amazing tasting with Loic!
I am a wine professional and I have visited many wineries all around the world. This was definitely one of my best experiences: delicious wines, friendly people and a very professional tasting.

Nous avons pu visiter les caves avec l’employée, très sympathique, puis avons fait une dégustation de vin où nous pouvions goûter tous les vins qui nous intéressaient. L’employée était très à l’écoute et nous a guidé sur les vins à déguster selon nos goûts. Merci pour ce moment

Dégustation gratuite, on nous a proposé de comparer les 3 riesling et les 3 pinot gris. C'était une idée intéressante. Nous avons pris le riesling estate. Très bon rapport qualité prix.

Had a great tasting today; we didn’t need to book ahead, we were able just to walk in and have a try. Chose 4 wines to taste and bought a Pinot gris at the end (the tasting itself was free). Thank you to Löic who was very friendly and was able to perfectly convey his passion and knowledge about the wines in English.

Expérience de dégustation incroyable !
Tout est pensé pour que l'expérience soit la plus réussie possible : belles tables et chaises confortables, un papier avec la liste des vins et une page vierge pour noter nos impressions, un sommelier très sympathique, pédagogue et d'une grande bienveillance, et des vins excellents ! Mention spéciale pour le Gewurztraminer VT !

Hugel es una de de las bodegas mas antiguas de la villa. En este local se pueden realizar catas de vinos ademas de comprarlos.
La persona que nos atendió fue miy atenta y las explicaciones fueron super completas. Puede hablar en francés y en inglés.
La cata es gratuita, y el precio de las botellas es asequible. Se puede probar todos los vinos y variedades que se quiera.
Una gran experiencia si se pasa por esta pequeña localidad.

Amazing range of wines, their practice of giving a three flight from Classic to SGN for each grape varietal really helps you see the differences between grapes and the make for each grape. They were the most generous in terms of number of wines sampled, among the winemakers we visited in Alsace. The SGNs are fantastic. In terms of experience though, service was average. While prompt and pleasant, the lady hosting us didn't go very much into the family history or brand. Guidance for each course of wine was also cursory, comparable to your typical commercial vineyard tour. Nonetheless, would still recommend visiting this iconic winemaker in Alsace.

La Réception était froid ça m'as donné l'impression que je l'ai dérangé, je veux lui dire ici désolée d'avoir ce dérangement.
Je pense que la prochaine fois il faut déguster dans une cave pas connu, au moins je suis bienvenue et je me sentais à l'aise pendant la dégustation.

Je ne veux pas parler de l'accueil glacial, mais plutôt de la qualité des vins que nous avons dégustés (Riesling et Sylvaner classique, selon les conseils d'une employée prenant en compte notre goût). Dès que nous avons goûté deux verres, nous avons cessé de chercher une autre bouteille, car le vin qui ne me parait pas frais (pas de fraicheur) était trop léger et simple, sans aucune complexité ni structure.

Went to taste wines with intention to purchase after, host seemed friendly but after the first glass he left us waiting and seemed to favour a much larger group that came after us. I did politely tried to hint that we were ready to try another wine but he then left again to cater to the large group. Unfortunately, after 25 minutes and only 1 sample we had to leave to catch our bus. Such a shame because we were going to purchase a few bottles, the larger group on the other hand were clearly just on a jolly.

New tasting room, schnazzy looking.
Some good white wines, a couple of rieslings that i'm taking home.
Our host was both fun and serious. Informative about where they pull their grapes from.
