Dans une atmosphère à la fois plus intime et plus distinguée qu’au Savuti Grill, ce restaurant propose une carte internationale variée et souvent renouvelée. Les viandes sont ici particulièrement recommandées, avec un petit plus pour l'entrecôte accompagnée de vin rouge sud-africain. D'ailleurs, l'établissement possède de belles références en vins internationaux. Les desserts sont tout aussi exquis, à l'instar du gâteau au chocolat et Grand Marnier. L’équipe en cuisine est exigeante et offre peut-être la plus belle table de Gaborone.

What a let down, always wanted to go to Avani. Today we arrived at Avani, we went to the pool restaurant, we waited a while at our table , no waiter came to us. Eventually I got up went to the bar to go and ask for the menu. The waiter came to the table with the menu, I asked him if my son could swim he first said no and then said why not. My son went into the pool. While we were still waiting for the waiter to return another guy arrived , telling us you can only swim if you are staying in the hotel, or you can take out a 3 months membership.
But my son need to get out. You had 2 people in the pool you selling the pool bar restaurant idea to guests both in house and from outside but they not allowed to swim. We left your venue disappointed and disgusted.
We would have had 3 starters , 3 main dishes and 2 dessert. 1 bottle of wine and 2 cocktails.

Avani will not see me again.

Last month I stayed at the Avani Lesotho and it was a great experience. This month was the turn of Avani Gaborone so my expectations were high. Avani Gaborone did not disappoint - it was just as good! The food, rooms and service were excellent. Kudos to TUMISO at reception, TSHEPANG in the Mahogany restaurant and OBAKENG in room service - they provided exceptional service - all three went the extra mile! The conference rooms were most comfortable and just how I remember them when I was last there in 2000 when it was Gaborone Sun - the wildlife paintings are superb and provide a lovely ambiance! The lamb shank and chilli pizza were delicious. (Cresta Hotels should come here to see how it should be done!)
