We spent five wonderful nights at the Hotel am Viktualienmarkt.

The location can't be beat with easy connections to public transit with a tram stop around the corner and the Marienplatz station a few minutes walk away.

You're close enough to Viktulienmarkt and Marienplatz to enjoy them easily, but avoid the noise and traffic. Truly a gem, in the heart of Munich's historic center and easy walking distance to many sights.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Rooms are simple, yet comfortable. A great value.

Breakfast is solid and a great way to start the day.

I can't wait to go back to Munich, as this will be my new hotel of choice when visiting the city.

Perfektes kleines Hotel in perfekter Lage. Hier hat alles gepasst!
Direkt am Viktualienmarkt, Marienplatz sowie S-Bahn/U-Bahn fussläufig erreichbar.

Just a few steps away from everything! Beautiful hotel run by a fantastic family. Breakfast was nice and the rooms were very clean. Would love to return!

We were (one of the many!) affected by the recent snowstorm in munich ...and finally reaching the hotel was like a beacon of hope!

They were accommodating with our delays, and made the checkin process smooth and easy (what you need when bone-tired). They also made checkout easy as we had a very early flight to catch.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment - which was great size for 3 adults; if you know German hotels, the rooms are on the small size.

Breakfast spread was a simple but satisfying spread.

Location was great - on one side of the Viktaulienmarkt market so walking distance to many great spots including the local metro (also easy to catch a taxi to/from the hotel).

Un mio amico ha prenotato una camera per me in questo Hotel am Viktualienmarkt. Li mi sono trovata benissimo, sicuro ritornerò di nuovo. La gentilissima ragazza che lavora lì parlava l'italiano e mi è stata molto d'aiuto, la ringrazio con tutto il cuore ❤️. Consigliò questo posto e vicinissimo al Viktualienmarkt e Marienplatz.

Geniale Lage eine Querstrasse vom Viktualienmarkt entfernt. Überschaubares Haus mit ausreichendem Frühstück bei dem man gestärkt in den Tag starten kann. Zimmer für ein Stadthotel absolut zufriedenstellend mit guten Betten. Sehr freundliches Personal am Empfang! Gerne wieder, wenn München auf dem Programm steht.

Wir sind am Donnerstag vor Ostern relativ spät angereist und freuten uns über das unkomplizierte Check-in. Dank mehrerer Parkhäuser in unmittelbarer Nähe war die Anreise via Auto kein Problem. Die Lage des Hotels direkt am Viktualienmarkt ist jedoch auch ideal, wenn man zu Fuß unterwegs ist.

Die Zimmer sind klein, aber fein: modern ausgebaut, gepflegt und sehr sauber. Auf das Frühstücksbuffet freuten wir uns jeweils bereits vor dem Schlafengehen.

Das überaus freundliche und hilfsbereite Personal machte unseren Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel perfekt.

Alles in allem würde ich diese Location wärmstens weiterempfehlen :-)

Tam merkezde, önemli yerlere sadece 3-4 dakika yürüme mesafesinde bir otel. Personel çok güler yüzlü. Odalar temiz. Lüks değil. Tam bir fiyat performans oteli.

Ein sauberes Stadthotel, ohne grosse Ansprüche zu stellen, ist das Hotel gut.
Die Lage ist super. Das Auto kann in einem Einkaufszentrum geparkt werden. Ca 30 Euro pro Tag/Nacht.
Frühstück war in Ordnung. Preislich im oberen Bereich, für München aber ok.

Personal ist nett aber die Zimmer sind dreckig und die eine Lampe funktioniert nicht. der Fernseher funktioniert auch nicht und man hört jedes Wort und jeden Schritt auf dem Flur im Zimmer. Kein Personal hilft abends bei technischen Problemen

Great location!! Only downside is street parking if you can find it. Breakfast is awesome, staff is more then happy to answer questions and point you in the right direction. Great stay!!

Hotel molto vicino al centro dove ci tanti palazzi da visitare... Alla reception abbiamo trovato un signore al mattino e una signora al pomeriggio che parlavano italiano ????
