Bastante decepcionante el camping, con bañera muy sucia (al aire libre), sin agua en los fregaderos, baños cerrados (había que ir hasta la recepción que estaba más lejos que las instalaciones de los servicios). Además tampoco había agua en la zona de carga y descarga de las aguas. Nada recomendable, ya que encima tampoco fue barato teniendo en cuenta la falta de servcios.

Don't come in the winter. Showers are outside and you'll freeze (although that could be your chance of becoming a grizzly ❄️????!!)

Comodo per chi visita la penisola, doccia calda inclusa nel prezzo ma all’aperto (…), i bagni sono in uno stabile adiacente e riscaldato. All’arrivo c’è il self-check-in con pagamento con il POS. Possibilità di usare lavatrice e asciugatrice (500 ISK l’una). In uno stabile dall’altra parte dell’ampio prato c’è la sala comune con 2 tavoli, microonde e bollitore. Ampio prato con tavoli da pic-nic vicino allo stabile dei bagni.

Came here based on other reviews, behind the golf course, go into golf reception (unmanned) to pay, instructions all there. Very clean toilet block, grassy sites when lovely view of the hills and ten minutes walk into town for handiness for food etc. Bonus supermarket in town and pretty working harbour. Showers available thank God, outdoors but I didn't care ( it was really hot water), there haven't been many showers in Icelandic camp sites!!

Campo de golf bonito. Muy grande, pero con mucha furgo, así que estaba algo masificado. Todo sea dicho, fue la 1a semana de agosto.
Cocina: no tiene.
Fregadero: sí
Baño: correcto.
Duchas: sí, al aire libre y sin techo. Si llueve, ya te habrás duchado doblemente. ¡Penoso!

Nous sommes restés dans ce camping pour une nuit avec un campervan. Nous avons payés 1600ISK/pers et 1100ISK d'électricité. Les nombreuses toilettes sont dans un bâtiment propre et chauffé. Cependant les deux douches disponibles sont en extérieur : douches individuelles mais sans toit, simplement une cabine. Plusieurs éviers pour la vaisselle sont disponibles avec eau chaude.

Grand camping avec beaucoup de places et situé à côté d’une station service. Le gros point négatif c’est la douche : il n’y en a qu’une seule pour le camping entier et celle-ci se trouve en extérieur avec ciel ouvert. On se retrouve donc obligé de se doucher avec le vent glacial ce qui est très désagréable.

Beaucoup de monde pendant notre séjour. Ce camping a deux inconvénients : seulement deux cabines de douche en extérieur et à ciel ouvert... quelle idée ! (Donc non chauffées et rien pour mettre ses vêtements à l'abri s'il pleut !). Le nombre est de toute façon très insuffisant, il y avait environ 70 caravanes et tentes soit au moins 150 personnes et seulement deux douches ?? Le nombre insuffisant de douches (et parfois leur inconfort) est vraiment un problème en Islande, on retrouve ça dans tous les campings.
Et d'autre part quelqu'un a eu l'idée idiote de ne pas mettre la réception à l'entrée mais tout au fond, du coup les arrivants traversent le terrain dans les deux sens, soit plus d'allées et venues et de bruit...

Sinon ce terrain n'a aucun charme particulier (pas de vue) et est coincé entre une petite zone d'activités et un golf. Il est juste pratique géographiquement.

L’Emplacement et la vue sont super!
Très calme par rapport aux autres campings et très propre.
Deux bémols : le cabine de douche sans le toit et pas de salle de cuisine avec le frigo.
Cependant il y a une salle couverte avec le micro onde et un bouilloire.

Summer camping

Beautiful site prior to exploring the Snaefellsness peninsula.This campsite is very spacious and quiet. There are 2 outdoor showers but considering the wind and the rain it would have been tough. Luckily, we stopped at a swimming pool prior to coming to this site. The bathrooms are very clean. Outdoor sinks with hot water. There were 4, 1 of them was not working.

You pay at the clubhouse where they also have WC, places to sit and charge up electronics.

The campground doesn't offer much in April. At the golfcenter is the reception with toilets and a washer/dryer. There are 2 tables and seating, microwave and tea kettle. Showers are closed. It's a bit out of town. But the town is beautiful and well worth going. Very good Restaurants.

Winter camping

Many facilities are not available for wintercamping. What to expect:
The toilets are clean and warm.
Inside dining area without cooking facilities.
Do the card transaction yourself on the terminal inside.
Lots of space to park your campervan.
No shower.

Las duchas estaban sin instalar por lo que no las puedes usar. No tienen agua ni los grifos puestos. Solo pudimos usar el WC y no hay nadie para pagar, tienes que usar tu el TPV y marcar la cantidad a pagar. No volvería aquí

In winter, the only bathrooms are in the reception building in the rear of the property. The main building bathrooms are locked and the only showers are outdoors. They charge 1600kr per person which you pay with self check-in in the reception building. There are no instructions about the available facilities posted on the bulletin board.
They are the only campground (sort of) open in the winter I could find west of the ring road near Snaefellsnes.

Ok camping met de basisfaciliteiten. Fijn verwarmde receptie/keuken/toiletgebouw. Erg slecht aangegeven waar de receptie is (het gele huis is inmiddels witgeverfd). Zelf afrekenen voelt raar. Mooi campingterrein en voldoende toiletten. Helaas alleen buiten douchen.

In overall not very clean. The showers are located outside, without any cupboard to put one's stuffs on. Only two showers for the whole camping area (one per gender). The tap to wash up was really dirty and covered by rubbish. We saw no dustbin on the area. The place is very windy, you find no wind shelter. The common area closes at 9 PM. The guy at the reception was friendly and helpful. It is a practical place if one plans to travel with the Badur ferry the next day. If not, go somewhere else.
