We were a bit disappointed by the room and the service :
- the guy who welcomed us was not really nice, super cold and not really helping.
- there were a lot of noise in the room essentially at night
- it was extremely hot in the room even though there were no heater on, and the windows only open a little bit
- I booked the Large room which was the most expensive and it was quite little especially the bathroom
- no room service/cleaning during the stay, not even the bed redone.

On the positive note, the decoration was really nice and the breakfast (extra) was delicious. The proximity with the train station was also very convenient.

The Pilgrm Hotel Restaurant and Bar in London is a true gem. The interior design is a perfect blend of vintage and modern, creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The menu offers a variety of delicious dishes, made with fresh and high-quality ingredients. The staff is friendly and attentive, providing excellent service throughout the evening. The cocktail selection is impressive, with a superb selection made in collaboration with top bars from around the world. The prices are very reasonable for central London. I would highly recommend The Pilgrm Hotel Restaurant and Bar for anyone looking for a great dining experience in London.

It's a fascinating place: funding your room is an adventure. I believe it was designed by a maze-maker. Absolutely eat the breakfast! It is - at least it was today - remarkable. (As was the coffee from the coffee bar downstairs.)

I didn’t physically stay at the hotel only had brunch there over the Easter weekend. Was a really nice brunch! We shared eggs salmon and avocado toast and had some french toast for dessert. The French toast especially was absolutely incredible! And the service was brilliant! We had such a lovely waitress.

The only thing I would say is I found the brunch EXTORTIONATELY expensive for what it was and the portions were quite small. For the salmon eggs, it was 2 pieces of smoked salmon, 2 small pieces of toast and 2 poached eggs and it was 16 quid. For a 3 star hotel I find that is ALOT when I would say the average in London is more about 12-13 with much bigger portions. But it was really really good!

Location is so good, VERY near Paddington station, which gives you good access to St. Pancras and Heathrow, walkable to Kensington. Rooms are very small (similar to most boutique hotels in big cities) but stylish, restaurant is good! So why did I give this hotel 2 stars? THIS IS THE LOUDEST HOTEL I HAVE EVER STAYED IN. The windows are single pane so every sound penetrates. You can hear everything in the hall, everything outside, couldn’t fall asleep, couldn’t stay asleep, was woken so many times by people outside at 11 pm, 1 am, and 3 am (on a Monday, for some reason). If you are coming in to the city jet lagged and need sleep, this hotel ain’t it. We had TWO white noise apps going and it was still so loud. Had the hotel booked again toward the end of our stay and canceled it. This hotel knows their hotel is loud, they offer earplugs. At minimum, they need powerful white noise machines in every room. At max, they need new windows.

Lovely little hotel cafe with a variety of spaces to sit and have a coffee and lunch. It seems a popular place to take a laptop and do some work too.

The Pilgrm has a ton of charm. The location is pretty ideal when traveling by how close to the train station it is. The service was great. I just wish the staff had an actual front desk. The interactions felt very awkward or cramped at times and it made me feel rushed to get out of their way. The hotel can be very noisy due to lack of insulation or having to keep the window open to keep the room cool. We could hear everything. I’d say if you’re looking for an adventurous stay, the Pilgrm is the one. The building has a coffee shop, restaurant, and lounge area. The restaurant was delicious and service was pretty quick. Wouldn’t recommend if you’re looking for a more relaxing hotel setting though.

Quarto pequeno, mas aconchegante. Prédio antigo e reformado, lindíssimo. Coleção de arte bem cool.
Atendimento acolhedor e bem rápido.
Muito próximo de bons pubs e transporte público.
Me hospedaria aqui novamente!!

Rip off. Selling a single bedroom (13m bed) for a double room and claiming it is disclosed so therefore acceptable. A maze of noisy small stairs and maid rooms. No daily cleaning if you stay 2 nights. I can go on... I mailed hotel inspection to inform them about the malpractices and hope the place gets closed.

Not the most welcoming experience during our 5 night stay. The employees are very dry and unfriendly. Rooms were okay but nothing special. After i checked out, I left an item in the room and when I messaged them to see if they are able to ship it out to me they immediately said “no they don’t offer shipping services”. Obviously it’s not their responsibility to be a post office when they’re barely a hotel, I still would’ve appreciated more of a friendlier response given we paid a good amount of money to say somewhere so mediocre.

Pro: location is great, right next to the Paddington station.
Cons: Room facing courtyard is noisy. Need to wear ear plugs because for the two days early morning, you can hear men talking (I assumed they are from the restaurants or shops somewhere). Basically, the room window has no sound proof function. The staffs in the hotel seems to work on their own. Lacks of hospitality and communication are seen. Breakfast time is the worst. Overall, I can only give this place two stars.

Yesterday organized a breakfast bag to go for this morning as leaving early - as we predicted this was not provided and all we got was a sorry - then a mystery charge of £14 was demanded for what we do not know.

Your service is beyond low and I would like a refund of the breakfast for two people today as you failed to deliver.

Again, rude staff who don't seem to communicate with each other at all

Pros - nicey.decorsted rooms within an old hybrid if conjoined buildings. Nice pantry for tea and coffee. But a kettle in room would be good so you don't have to get ready to go get a cuppa at night or early morning.

Oversold and highly underdelivered!

Staff don't greet you and it seems you are a problem to them. Breakfast staff very slow and he doesn't acknowledge you at all until you speak to him. Breakfast menu is ok but more brunch than breakfast.

The noise external to building is awful - we are above an industrial kitchen and the constant extraction fan makes.it impossible to sleep or heat anytging but that - then there's the hollering at 5am from the alley - earplugs should be placed in rooms.

Breakfast - very limited compared to other properties we stay in and as above, staff make you feel problematic just by asking things like where to sit. No explanation of the menu or water given unless asked for. The dining area is a bar and not a comfortable space for eating as tables too low to the ground.

Having stayed in a range of 9 hotels, guest houses and BBs this trip up and down the UK, this is a dismal end to our trip.

I always stay here if I have to be in London overnight. Yes, the rooms are small but they’re clean and comfortable and the location is ideal. Good value for money.
