Ici, l’été, c’est ambiance de konoba dalmate, ouverte sur l'extérieur. Vous pourrez commander des viandes ou poissons grillés, des cevapcici et de grandes portions de légumes grillés ou un plat végétarien, le tout préparé façon barbecue familial. Quand il fait plus frais, on apprécie le style plus cosy de la salle à manger, construite en pierres de taille, avec poutres apparentes, cheminée et mobilier en bois.

Siamo stati in questo ristorante in pieno agosto, subito dopo la visita al castello medievale. Abbastanza affamati ma comunque desiderosi di assaggiare qualcosa di tipico (possibilmente a base di pesce), entriamo in questo ristorante all'apparenza sofisticato ma accogliente e familiare come pochi. Appena accomodati difatti ci sentiamo un tantino confusi, la zona esterna semi coperta dalla vista mozzafiato sulla città e le mura antiche dell'edificio, sembrano quasi scontrarsi con il menù dai prezzi onesti e contenuti (tipico delle locande a conduzione familiare). Per nulla interessati al puro aspetto esteriore dell'edificio, se non per quanto attiene le condizioni igieniche, siamo ancora più invogliati nel provare qualcosa di locale e ordiniamo due porzioni di calamari grigliati, già accompagnati da un contorno di bietole e patate, molto tipico. Non c'è che dire, i migliori calamari mangiati sulla costa istriana. Da leccarsi i baffi, persino il pane era ottimo, morbido e saporito dentro, crosta croccante fuori. Il cameriere parlava italiano, molto gentile e disponibile. La ciliegina sulla torta è stato il caffè espresso, buono come quello fatto in casa. Torneremo a fargli visita, da provare certamente.

We arrived and no one on sight, we asked if we could sit and they said yes, 10 minutes later and they didn’t even bring us a menu. We finally managed to order food and it took like 40 minutes to arrive, the food was very average, kind of low, we ordered the truffled paste (absolutely no truffle taste, not even in the truffle slices ????????♀️). Overpriced food, not very tasty and absolutely horrible service, the food took more than 40 minutes to arrive. Nice view and nice wine, that’s all, besides that not worth the money or the time (taking into account that it wasn’t even busy when we went).
