Best hotel in all of NYC most likely but definitely lower Manhattan I switched from a neighboring hotel and if I could give ten stars I would. Clean , spacious and pretty modern. The staff treated me like royalty. The only negative thing I can say is it is in soho but the very end like almost by canal street but just avoid that south side and you’ll be fine

I was lucky to be able to stay here after my late flight to Chicago was canceled. It was so wonderful to be received warmly when I arrived and to have had such a luxurious room, upgraded for my birthday!
I highly recommend The SoHo Grand!

Jazz club area was phenomenal. Beautiful ambience, lovely live music, lighting. Great menu. One of the best spots.

Posting at 5:15 am thanks to a large and loud crowd tearing through our floor at 4:45 and ruining our night's sleep ... Folks continued to open and close doors and socialize in the halls and otherwise make noise for the last half hour. Sorry, while hotels don't control guests, guests also reflect on and affect the quality of the experience for good or ill. After this we won't be coming back here or recommending it to anyone else.

The staff was extremely friendly and we have no poor words to say about anyone with whom we interacted, but still .... Cannot be positive about this place with what we experienced.

Everyone here is amazing especially the Door staff, Daniel, Anthony, and Jose. great location. They always have fun stuff going on the bars great performances and events.

Soho Grand never fails. Was grateful for the seamless check in with a complimentary glass of champagne, concierge referrals for dinner and the late check out. Will be back

My favourite bar in Soho . Enough space to sit and chill without the crowds. Service might take too long to get to the table but it is understandable.

Make sure you check the bill before you leave the table because they happened to overcharge my bills .

The Bar room is always impressive from Jazz live music .

The Soho Grand Hotel is a beautiful property in one of the best neighborhoods in the city, however, it's the service that stands out most: the Front Desk is so well trained and extends a genuinely warm welcome; the Valets are prompt and "on it" and helpful; the Bellhops are so fast up to the room I usually haven't even taken off my coat before they're knocking on the door; Housekeeping is thorough and reliable, yet I never see or hear anyone - they're like ghosts. On top of all the wonderful service is the special "vibe" that is not like anywhere else in town!

I checked in today with my wife and we had an amazing time. Left hotel, went to Marea for dinner and came home to a mess out front. I called ahead asking for a change of room or at bare minimum for a call back and the front office hung up. Sadly now I am up until it closes

I've written a review here before about one of the managers, now I have to highlight another. Mustafa is an absolute gem! Not only is he kind and inviting, but he literally saved me from what would have been a horrible night. There was a cold, windy, rainy down pour a couple of weeks ago in NYC, and my phone froze from getting wet preventing me from calling an uber. I was in soho ans walked to the hotel to charge my phone, unsure how I'd make it home. I saw Mustafa and said hello, since I am a regular there. He asked me how I was doing and I told him the pickle I was in. Without missing a beat, he took out his phone and told me he was calling me an uber. I was stunned and politely declined his offer but he insisted and asked me for my address- for context, I live on the Upper East Side. Suffice to say, he definitely demonstrated class, kindness, and truly high tier hospitality. I cant say enough great things about the staff and management, thanks again for another great experience SGH team!!!

Our favorite "go to" hotel in Manhattan!! Great rooms, linens, and products. Staff and service is top notch. The food is delicious and the nightlife scene in the lobby bar and Club Room never disappoints.

I love this hotel & everything in it - service, cleanliness, vibes, room service, the connecting diner. I will be returning. I love when they have a Bluetooth speaker in rooms and this one is just perfection.

Leaving this review after booking through Reservation Manager Alexis Ortiz. She was very helpful in my need to last minute change hotels to the soho grand. She was helpful and answered all of my questions. Looking forward to my stay at The Soho Grand Hotel.

Attractive, well run, excellent location and top notch service. OUTSTANDING value. The hotel has a casually elegant vibe especially in the lobby bar with plush seating and enormous windows. Rooms had everything I needed, even a complimentary umbrella. Really well thought out provisions. I appreciate the shelving in the bathroom for toiletries and ample space around the sink. Only downside: not a fan of the dark decor. Also, I had some trouble regulating water temp in the shower because of the fixtures. And I recommend booking a room that is not over the club - the noise level was somewhat disturbing late at night. But overall this hotel felt lovely, upscale, laid back and trendy. It was a wonderful downtown discovery and you can not beat the price. The staff was very responsive. I had a great experience here and will definitely come back.

Rooms are fine. Shower not that good. To ruins view out of the window. Staff super unaccommodating, we walked in with all our luggage, said hi to the door staff, lugged up stairs and then into elevator to reception to be told we have to take it all downstairs to door staff we just said hi to. Then leaving hotel, asking for an umbrella, we ran out, go upstairs. Asked for recommendations for restaurants, the only place recommended was the place directly opposite. Clear why they are not 5 star but maybe should be 3.
