Family short break
What a surprise this site was! A last minute booking. Brilliant value for money. Kids loved the pool, animals, park - everything! We didn’t use the restaurant but the menu looked fantastic and good value. Overall we would more than happily return :)

Relaxing stay but...
We could not fault the campsite as a whole. Our pitch was glorious and the lake amazing. We camp in France every year and would seriously consider coming back. Only negatives that would stop me returning was the restaurant. My husband and I are vegetarian. There are only 3 options on the menu when restaurant is open (not every night) none are vegetarian and only one per week is fish. I had to ask for a veg option when we ate there twice and I was made to feel it was a massive problem. The meal was lovely but it put us off booking again. We normally eat in restaurant at least 5 times so this was a big miss for us and would stop us returning unfortunately.

Fijne camping, in omgeving weinig te beleven.
Een mooie camping, kleinschalig. Zeer ruime plekken. Sanitairgebouw schoon genoeg, maar verouderd. Zou een update kunnen gebruiken. Leuk zwembad, leuke speeltuin. In de omgeving niet veel te doen (weinig levendige dorpjes).

Overall: wonderfull site, indeed 4 star worthy. Friendly staff, lots of space, quiet.
We experienced some technical issues but these were tackled professionally.
1 tip for improvement:
For a 4 star camping site we expected free wifi to be included. We experienced the current procedure (buy coupons that could not even be shared over multiple devices) as user-unfriendly and expensive.

et oui en Creuse ...des vacances heureuses c'est tout à fait d 'actualité !
un grand coin de paradis ! un parc superbe ! des emplacements ...certes délimités mais non clos par des végétaux de différentes espèces ( donc feuillage et couleurs variés) ...des perspectives, un petit lac , une bassine multi bassin !
un petit resto , des activités 3 fois par jours pour les petits mais à des rythmes adaptés...vraiment un bel endroit !
nous recommandons pour le calme , l'attention permanente des personnels ....

very nice site quiet staff helpful stayed 6 nights not sure there are any fish in the lake or the 31 degrees put them off

The quietness is deafening
A jewel of a site where life goes slowly along and relaxation reigns supreme. The restaurant is a gem and all staff are very friendly. I have met someone (at a different site after we had moved on) who has been to Poinsuze 16 times. He agreed with my assessment. Can I say more?

Mobilhome première génération avec pas mal de petits défauts. 3 points noirs : la rigidité des propriétaires (rappelons que c’est un lieu de vacances et non un camp militaire), la piscine gelée pour les enfants, et l’impossibilité’ de prendre l’apéro au soleil à 19h car il fallait absolument que le cuisinier serve les assiettes à 19h et à l’interieur...

Très très bien entretenu, il y a aussi une très belle piscine à côté du restaurant. Un gros point faible il manque la télévision, prévoir un bon livre.
Le camping se situe à environ 2 km du bourg de Boussac. Juste à l'entrée du camping passe un circuit VTT plutôt bien balisé,et des petits chemins pour sorties VTT ou running. Camping agréable pour des vacances tranquilles.
