Average Marriott hotel..view is nice from the hotel

Enfin réouvert ...bien situé, belles chambres et bon restaurant...demandez une chambre côté Seine vous verrez tout Paris.

Stayed at a kingsize room on one of the highest floors, facing the Seine. The views were spectacular and you can see the Sacre-Coeur, Notre-dame and of course Eiffel.
The room was a bit on the small side but it did have a worktop desk which was nice. No room service, you can order food via their app but you need to pick it up yourself downstairs which some might find annoying. The cleaning service were very good and even provided extra coffee pods without prompting. The hotel restaurant and bar was very relaxing and provided good service. There was a very nice red haired female bartender in particular on the evening shift who was always very genial to me whenever I visited.

Most of the staff were friendly, professional and spoke top notch English which is the only reason why I'm still giving 2 stars. Unfortunately on the last night I met a really rude reception employee called Lea who yelled at me although I had done nothing to provoke her, and she tried to make me go through a completely different process to buy the hotel snacks than I had been advised to do for the previous 4 days. And it didn't stop there... when when she was logging my purchases into the system made another snarky remark about the amount I had purchased. I am a paying customer and don't need the judgmental attitude. Aren't customers who buy the goods the whole point of having a hotel shop??
I am honestly flabbergasted that this particular receptionist had the audacity to make a comment about the quantity of stuff I had purchased as it really wasn't her place to do so.

To make things even more bizarre, according to Lea's name tag she was still a receptionist-in-training. She certainly needs more training on how to be a polite communicator and customer service. Her behaviour soured my Marriott and Paris stay and left a bad taste in my mouth. I submitted official complaints although have yet to hear back.

The customer service at this hotel was top notch. They spoke excellent English. The hotel offers a complimentary luggage room if you want to explore the city after checking out on the last day. Located seconds from the metro entrance. Lots of restaurants and grocery stores in the immediate area. Hotel felt very secure with a room key being required for the elevator.

What a great find! Easy access to the train, metro and buses. Clean, recently renovated rooms. Superb staff who helped me get reservations at restaurants before we arrived. I emailed, they called. Brilliant!!! Will definitely stay here again when I return to Paris.

Small plus details: filtered water on every floor, secure elevator, view of the Eiffel tower from our room

The modern hotel is located just a couple of mins from gare du lyon and with easily accessible metro. The rooms are very modern and spick and span. Breakfast had good variety and scrumptious. The front desk staff, especially a lady by the name Jenny or something similar (apologies) was extremely pleasant and curtious.

Dans l'ensemble très bien, GROS BÉMOL : impossible d'utiliser les escaliers, seulement l'ascenseur est disponible pour monter les étages... un peu dommage quand on paye ce prix pour une chambre de ne pas avoir la possibilité de monter des escaliers. Bref, mise à part ça, je le redis, c'est très bien.

le parking était à mon arrivé rempli d’huile moteur !
bien sûr rien ne le prévenait j’ai perdu le contrôle de mon véhicule…
après avoir prévenu l’hôtel pour éviter des blessés (une personne était tombé à pied devant moi ) j’ai demandé un dédommagement car mon air bag moto s’était déclenché ! cela fait 3 mois et toujours aucune réponse à mes mails cordiaux !

The good: good location, close to restaurants and metro station, the restaurant staff are friendly, front desk staff have very good (albeit fake) smiles, hotel feels modern, breakfast options are okay. Good view of the river, and I could just make out the Eiffel Tower.

The bad: little things that this brand will give you for free in other parts of the world (room upgrades, late check outs, umbrella loans) you will need to for here - everything has a price (this is more a criticism of Europe rather than this hotel brand).
The bed in my room was a very cheap fold-up kind which I was stunned to see in a 4-star hotel. The bath/shower is raised up so the step out of the shower onto the flood is quite steep (see photo) so I would not recommend for the elderly of those with mobility issues.

As always it's Marriott. Great place next to station and fantastic quality service and cleanliness

Super expérience ! L'hôtel est beau, moderne, les chambres sont spacieuses et avec des vues magnifiques sur Paris. Le personnel est sympathique, dynamique et aux petits soins. L'emplacement est parfait à 2min de la Gare de Lyon, et bien desservi en bus également. Le petit-déjeuner est très varié, j'ai vu qu'ils font un brunch le dimanche mais je l'ai pas testé. Un grand merci à toute l'équipe, je recommande sans hésiter !
