Boukie's Bookshop est la première librairie 100 % anglophone de Périgueux ! Amoureux de la langue de Shakespeare, vous trouverez votre bonheur dans cette librairie cosy qui propose un large choix littéraire : roman, biographie/autobiographie, sciences sociales, poésie, théâtre, littérature de jeunesse et enfance, roman graphique... Et pour parfaire l'expérience, prenez le temps de vous installer dans la partie salon de thé de la librairie où vous pourrez déguster du thé anglais, du café et des gâteaux faits maison. Un pari audacieux, mais réussi !

Librairie anglophone au cœur de Périgueux, ouverte du mardi au samedi de 9h à 20h, Boukie's Bookshop propose des livres en anglais de tous genres et pour tous les âges (il est bien sûr possible de commander des livres). La librairie fait également café, et propose des parts de gâteaux à l'anglaise pour accompagner vos lectures. De plus, le libraire américain propose des cours d'anglais pour ceux qui aimeraient apprendre ou s'améliorer.

Boukie's is really three different things:
A place to get new release and second-hand English books, including a great middle grade / young adult fiction and children's section.
A lovely cafe to have a coffee, tea, smoothie, or slice of cake.
A hub for the international and multilingual community in Périgueux. Stop in to check out the weekly events!
The cultural diversity within the bookstore is magical! In the same space there are people of different nationalities such as Japanese, Brazilians, Irish, English and French all using English for communication. A welcoming and unique place!
David and Quitterie are charming and are always looking to provide the best service for their customers who almost always end up becoming friends. It’s my favorite place in Perigueux, everyone is welcome, all ages and nationalities have space inside Boukie’s!
