Great restaurant in Firostefani in a cozy street. Traditional greek food restaurant with good views. Everything we ordered was delicious specially moussaka. During high season it is better to book in advance because the restaurant is not so big and there are few tablea outside. Highly recommended.

This restaurant was so good… Right on the caldera of the volcano. Beautiful spot food was equally as good
Would definitely recommend this place to anyone considering it.
They have been serving meals here since the early 1900s. Delicious moussaka????

We visited on our first night in Santorini and the experience around sunset was spectacular! The food was authentic and delicious, service was top notch, and the view of the sea was breathtaking!

Excellent food from this well run family restaurant. The squid is the best I’ve had in terms of flavor, veal stew was excellent (the lamp takes 7 hours to cook and we’re too early for it at 6pm). Croquettes and eggplants are prepared and presented very creatively and the dessert did not disappoint. Even the house wine was wonderful. Great way to end our trip in Greece!

Local local local this place is legit ! We had codfish balls and Greek salad and moussaka. The taste is so fresh and the moussaka was freshly made in a clay pot. The view is amazing and the service is outstanding. George asked about my allergies and explained the menu so well.

Had the last lunch of our trip here. 15 minute walk from Fira, easy to find. Sat outside as it was nice and breezy.
We ordered the local salad, two pasta dishes and the smoked aubergine. All three items were delicious. The best meal of our trip! Our 4 year old had already had his lunch but when he smelt the food he had another go at it! The salad was fresh and light. The aubergine dip was on the small side but really tasty.
Service was good, and quick. They took care of our kids allergies and recommended items that were suitable. Would have loved to have another day to come back and try some of the other dishes here

- Plats excellents, restaurant authentique avec un large choix de spécialités locales.

J'ai pris des pâtes fraîches aux champignons qui étaient excellentes

Possibilité de manger face au coucher de soleil

Nice setting. Reasonably priced. The food could have been tastier- definitely not the best we’ve had in santorini. Very windy on the outside tables after dark! Reasonable number of vegetarian options.

First I need to say the costumer service is terrible!
Since the first moment we’ve been attended we’ve felt unwelcome in the restaurant.
Waiters are extremely rude and it does honestly feel like the owner doesn’t like costumers at all.
During the dinner multiple time he has been screaming to costumers for no reasons, being extremely rude to them.
I’m an hotel owner and was absolutely shocked by how bad the service was. I’ve been travelling my whole life and never seen something that bad.
I’ve ordered a prawn pasta, probably one of the worst I have ever had.
The pasta was uncooked and there was no sauce at all…. Surprise, the shrimps were completely raw.
I’ve asked the owner to please change my dish as it was un-eatable, he refuses to change my meal, he asked me to pay the bill and leave the restaurant as I wasn’t welcome, insisting he needed the table for other guests.
After discussing with him he still refused to refund my pasta and insisted for me to pay threatening me…

I’ve never had such a bad experience and I absolutely NOT recommend this restaurant at all .

If I could leave zero stars, I would. I had my night ruined. I ordered a lamb that came out smelling like a cinnamon bun, I asked the waiter if the lamb was supposed to have that much cinnamon since it wasn't noted at all in the menu description, so he took my plate away without saying anything and brought me the bill. I asked if I could order anything else, as my partner had just started on his pasta, and they said no and left me to stare while everyone else ate in the next 2 minutes. When we went to pay and told them that what they had done was unprofessional and uncalled for, they rolled their eyes at us and told us they had done nothing wrong, and didn't understand why we were complaining. The 45 minutes we were there, we witnessed how they mistreated every single table inside, from yelling at someone to speak in a lower tone, to another grandpa's who had swapped tables to share information. HORRIBLE PLACE IF YOU WANT TO HAVE A GOOD TIME, they should not be working in the service industry, we come from the hospitality background ourselves, and have never met such unwelcoming people.

Celebrating 101 years, so they must be doing something right! Had a very nice lunch of pasta with mushrooms, truffles, and cheese, plus a nice dry rose wine. Great views, and much less expensive than nearby restaurants.

Adresse à faire absolument en dehors des ruelles touristiques bondées : cuisine traditionnelles goutue et de qualité ! Essayez les croquettes de poisson (excellentes), les pâtes aux champignons et fromages ou bien encore là pêche du jour grillée. C est frais, simple mais fabuleux en bouche! Pensez à réserver pour une table dehors. Décoration typique et traditionnelle à l intérieur. Adresse à ne pas manquer!

Mushroom gyros was one of the best dishes we tried in Greece!

Staff could be a bit nicer, we booked a sunset spot but they didn’t want to give it to us upon arrival.

Still 5/5 as the food was great!

Un excellent restaurant, très bien placé, avec une âme

Je ne manque jamais de me rendre dans ce restaurant à chacun de mes séjours à Santorin. La cuisine y est excellente, il y a toujours dans les propositions du jours des plats traditionnels faits maison sortant des sentiers battus des propositions de tavernes grecques habituelles dans les lieux supra touristiques comme Santorin. Je me souviens d'y avoir dégusté une souris d'agneau succulente, alors que je n'étais pas venu pour cela au départ. Ce restaurant est particulièrement bien placé, le long de la promenade allant de Fira, la capitale, à Imerovigli, le long de la Caldera, avec des vues à couper le souffle. On peut même prolonger la balade jusqu'à Oia via un chemin de randonnée merveilleux, que je recommande hautement. Là encore, mieux vaut réserver, la petite terrasse est tout le temps pleine...à raison !

La simplicité de l'accueil et la qualité des renseignements sur les différents plats traditionnels nous a ravis. L'emplacement, en dehors de la cohue, est bien agréable.

Un restaurant comme on les aime, simple, authentique, cuisiné avec amour et avec le goût des bonnes choses!
De loin les meilleurs saveurs méditerranéennes que nous ayons goûté.
Nous y sommes retourné 2 fois, et nous ne sommes pas les seuls! Lors de nos 2 soirées, nous avons entendu plusieurs tables reprendre une réservation et avons retrouvé clients lors de notre seconde visite! (alors que le restaurant est tout petit!)
Les senteurs et saveur des plats très harmonieux et généreux! nous avons adoré, la daurade, les "burgers" de veau , risotto et pâtes au sauces locales !
Enfin au dessert nous avons succombé pour la délicieuse tarte au citron! la meilleure et une des raisons qui nous a fait revenir!
N'hésitez pas à réserver car le restaurant est petit!
On reviendra!

Le lieu idéal pour manger et contempler la caldeira ou de contempler le sunset.
Ce restaurant ou plutot petite taverne familiale grecque est situé le long de la Caldeira, entre Fira et Firostefani, pour vous y rendre vous devrez sortir de Fira en parcourant le chemin pédestre en direction d'Oia, pour vous repérer une église orthodoxe et un moulin, ainsi qu'un petit âne.
La nourriture est excellent servi en quantité raisonnable, la moussaka est faite maison un bonheur pour les papilles, on y sert du poisson frais, la nourriture est excellente et le cuisinier et gérant propose un excellent service.
Par contre pour pouvoir profiter de la place sur la terrasse afin de contempler la caldeira lors de votre diné ou déjeuner pensez à y aller tôt ou réserver.
Une adresse immanquable sur l'île.
