Horrible experience with the owner/manager. I felt so intimidated and uncomfortable. This is also NOT a social hostel, no vibe or ambience at all.

My friend visited the hostel (not a guest) and the receptionist said he could stay for lunch so long as he only stayed in the common area. Halfway through lunch the owner (an older bald male, spoke no English) aggressively told my friend he had to leave. All he said was “go now”. I said the receptionist said it was okay, and asked if he could just finish his lunch. He shouted “NOW”. The owner was extremely rude and aggressive, trying to literally shoo him out and wouldn’t even let him pack his belongings. He said he was leaving and the owner looked furious, honestly like he could hit him. While he was packing his things up the owner grabbed his arm and tried to yank him up and out the hostel. I couldn’t believe it and told him not to touch him and that he was packing to leave! The owner followed him out all the way to the street. He treated him like a stray dog. From that point on the owner was giving me death stares for the rest of my stay, I felt so uncomfortable being there. On my last day after check out I asked if I could keep my baggage in storage until my 12pm bus. He said no and when I asked why he just said “no quiero”. After this incident I read the hostel reviews and all negative reviews are related to this same rude behaviour. Had I known he was like this before, I would not have given him my business. I’ve never experienced this kind of treatment from a hostel before. Ruined my stay and I urge you to stay elsewhere.

Keuken voorzien van alle benodigdheden.

Vriendelijk personeel.
Fijne ruimte wat betreft zitplekken / hangplekken.

Enige minpunt wat mij betreft is dat er geen gordijntjes zijn in de dorms, dus geen privacy als je in je bed ligt ... wel lekker ruime dorms waardoor je niet hoeft te kloten met je bagage. Ook grote lockers om alles in op te slaan

Ein ganz normales Hostel, wo man bekommt, was man erwartet.
Gute stabile Betten mit eigenem Ventilator, große Schränke für die Backpacks, gut ausgestattete Küche, viele deutsche Bettspiele.
Die Lage am Ortsrand ist sehr gut, da nicht zu laut und alles gut erreichbar. Supermarkt und Fahrradverleih sind direkt nebenan.

Mejor experiencia imposible!!
Nada más entrar en el Hostel Pagalú sientes su buena energía. Espacios abiertos con mucha luz natural y un jardín muy relajante, las personas que te reciben son muy amables.
Las habitaciones son espaciosas y las camas grandes y muy cómodas.
Cuidan mucho la limpieza, se nota nada más entrar y la cocina está muy bien organizada. También hay una persona por la noche que guarda el recinto, es muy seguro y tranquilo. Y la ubicación es perfecta, cajeros y supermercados al lado.
Fué una estancia muy relajada y sobre todo gracias a los propietarios que ayudan en todo lo que pueden siempre con una sonrisa. Enhorabuena por vuestro hogar que hacéis nuestro también.
Espero volver algún día.

No suelo escribir reseñas, hasta ahora solo si son positivas, pero esta vez me gustaría mencionar la mala experiencia que hemos tenido con el dueño del hostel. Todo fue muy bien en nuestra estancia pero el día que nos fuimos, pedimos permiso a la chica que estaba en recepción para dejar el equipaje guardado después de hacer el check out y no tener que cargar todo el día con las mochilas. Cuando volvimos a recogerlas, entramos para recoger comida que teníamos en la refri y el dueño se nos acercó para decirnos que ya no podíamos usar las instalaciones (solo íbamos a sacar nuestra comida) y por supuesto no pudimos usar el baño ni rellenar la botella de agua para el viaje.

Después volvió a acercarse para decirnos que teníamos que haber pedido permiso para dejar las mochilas, ademas dándonos a entender que para la próxima vez no nos dejaría alojarnos en el hostel por este motivo. Le respondí que lo habíamos hecho pero no le importo y siguió echándonos y diciendo que si no sabíamos leer (faltándonos al respeto de muy malas formas), porque al parecer había un cartel en recepción que decía que no se pueden usar las instalaciones a partir de las 3pm, aunque nadie nos informó, y por tanto no podíamos dejar el equipaje más tarde de esa hora, aunque nosotras habíamos llegado a las 3:30pm. En el cartel no estaba claro que el equipaje no se podía dejar más de las 3, simplemente que no se podía estar en la zona común del hostel.

Mucha falta de educación para alguien que trabaja de cara al público, nunca me había pasado nada así en ningún alojamiento. La estancia fue buena pero esto arruinó todo, no recomiendo el hostel.

Excelente ambiente y servicio, relacion calidad precio inmejorable

Central hostel, close to the beach and the nearest supermarket. The rooms are spacious and while there's no A/C, each person has a small fan, and there's a large rotating fan in the room as well. Clean bathrooms, friendly staff. When I was there, it was very quiet, but it could also be due to the fact that I visited during the off-season. Overall, it's a nice hostel.

Coup de cœur pour cette auberge tenue par un couple charmant. Elle est très propre, les chambres sont spacieuses et la cuisine est bien équipée. On s’y sent comme à la maison !

Muy buena experiencia, bien ubicado, cerca del centro pero a la vez se puede descansar, a unos metros hay un super market donde hay de todo. Lo que más destaco es el orden y la limpieza se nota la dedicación y el cariño que le ponen al lugar. El personal del hostal son muy amables y siempre atentos a cualquier solicitud. Muchas gracias y felicitaciones. 100% recomendado!

The stuff was not pleasant at all, I requested to check in one 1h earlier, they confirmed and then did not wanted to accept when I came to the place. This place was faceless, had nothing to stand among other hostels, you don't want to be remembered by nothing special.

Buen trato, hay personal de seguridad que permite una llegada flexible. Cocina bien equipada, limpia y con reciclaje. Recomendamos el hostel!

The people who run this place are schizophrenic and purely evil. Don’t be fooled by their warm welcome at reception when you arrive, because as soon as they have taken your money they will turn on you. In the afternoon, after storing my bags (with permission) after check out, I was sitting in the lobby while searching on my phone for a place to stay that night (I only checked out of their hostel because it was full). Then out of nowhere I was forcibly removed from the hostel without even being allowed to gather my belongings. I later on had to have a friend staying at the hostel bring me the rest of my belongings. The receptionist who checked me in now wouldn’t even talk to me, and the owner stared at me like he wanted to kill me and just kept repeating “please, please, please” while motioning toward the door. The lady gave off very mixed vibes but in the end turned on me as well. While staying there I witnessed her act very rudely to other guests for no apparent reason. What a way to treat other human beings, especially those who have given you business and acted so respectfully and responsibly while staying at your property. There are a lot of good people out there but these are not some of them. Don’t wait your time, money, or dignity. 0/10.

Excelente hostel. El lugar es super limpio, tanto las habitaciones como las áreas comunes y la cocina. La cocina está super bien equipada y se nota que los propietarios trabajan mucho para mantenerla siempre limpia y ordenada. La ubicación es excelente. Recomiendo!!

Linda experiencia, te atienden muy bien, en mi caso alquile la habitación privada en suite, que se encontraba muy limpia, te ofrecen toallas y jabón que en la mayoría de los hostel no. Hay café gratis y la cocina súper equipada para poder cocinarse lo que uno quisiera.

Mi experiencia en pagalú fue excelente. Los dueños super amorosos, el personal amable, las habitaciones muy amplias y cómodas

Really nice, clean, quiet hostel. Big rooms, enough space, showers are super!!! This is the perfect place to read a book, talk or sleep normal. No loud music, quiz night or beer pong!
