Idéal au retour d'un long voyage, après plusieurs heures de route en revenant du nord. Les gîtes, récemment rénovés, possèdent des chalets de luxe, un camping et surtout une belle piscine aussi grande que 2 terrains de tennis. Situé dans la réserve de Daan Viljoen, ancré en plein cœur d'un sanctuaire d'une relativement grande population d'espèces de gibiers typiques des hauts plateaux. En raison de sa proximité avec Windhoek et son écrin de verdure, c'est une escale pratique pour les visiteurs souhaitant éviter l'agitation somme toute relative de la capitale.

El guia RICHARD es lo mejor del hotel junto con el CHEF. Aun asi, la comida un poco justa, no me refiero a la cena, sino a la hora de la comida (de 12 a 14) solo hay posibilidad de comer una ensalada (en diferentes variedades), la cantidad también es un justa. Sobre la cena nada que objetar, buffet y variado. La oferta de bebidas nos ha parecido escasa. Tener que pagar el agua en el desayuno no nos ha parecido bien.
Que el baño este fuera de la habitación, opinión personal, no me ha gustado. La lona de las habitaciones con el viento, no ayuda para dormir.

Un très bel endroit bien situé pour visiter Deadvlei et les alentours. Tentes luxueuses, personnel attentionné, très bon buffet avec choix de viandes à griller. Vraiment nous avons passé un bon moment ici.
Le tout petit bémol, trop proche du hameau Sesriem donc un peu de bruit lié aux allers retours matinaux des 4x4.

Sehr schön eingerichtete Zimmer und gut gelegen innerhalb des 1. Gates. Der Service ist freundlich und das Essen sehr lecker und frisch. Nur das Lunch-Menu liess etwas zu wünschen übrig, da mit dem Feta Käse beim griechischen Salat sehr gespart wurde. Am letzten Tag hätten wir einen Lunch To-Go bekommen, jedoch wurde dieser dann von uns wie auch von den Angestellten leider vergessen. Die Frühstücksbox, welche wir am Morgen auf der Big Daddy genossen haben, war jedoch sehr gut! Auch die Tipps von Reagan waren sehr hilfreich. Die Wassertemperatur der Dusche war sehr unberechenbar, da sie willkürlich von eiskalt zu kochend heiss wechselte.

Sehr schöne Anlage in guter Lage, direkt am Eingang zur Sossusvlei. Etwas schade ist, dass es keine Familienzelte gibt, sondern dass wenn man zu dritt reist einer in einem seperaten, riesigen Zelt untergebracht ist. An sich sind die Zelte sehr schön und bieten eine tolle Aussicht, es läuft auch immer mal wieder ein Oryx vorbei. Das Essen war sehr gut und das Personal sehr freundlich. Allerdings wurde auf eine Reklamation unsererseits nicht reagiert. Der Kühlschrank im Zelt funktionierte nicht, wir teilten es einem Mitarbeiter mit und es sollte sich auch jemand darum kümmern. Allerdings ging dann weder der Kühlschrank noch haben wir eine Info bekommen. Unser Guide Namens MC war top, hat viel erklärt und uns toll durch den Vormittag gebracht
