Fantastic castle, with fantastic staff!

I was here in September and it was a fantastic long weekend!
The majestic castle was overwhelming to enter, and one got the feeling of entering a fairy tale.
The staff were very helpful and were ready to help us with anything we needed.

Since we were at the castle outside the high season, some services and restaurants were closed. That didn't stop the staff from offering us a wonderful experience, serving us from the menu of the "closed" restaurants. Fantastic. The same goes for the wine tasting, where the staff went out of their way to give us a great experience, even though the regular staff who usually hold the wine tasting were away for the season.

We stayed in the old castle part of the hotel.
The rooms were like a fairy tale, and you feel you are entering an old fairy tale, and sleep like a king. They have managed to keep the old expression of the castle, while at the same time it feels very modern.

My daughter and her husband held their wedding here. My family came from Australia and stayed in the adjoining Palazzo hotel and the wedding was just perfect. The accommodation was fabulous, staff and service outstanding, food outstanding. A really beautiful place to stay on holiday but particularly to have a wedding. Could not fault anything and the whole wedding was perfect. We cannot recommend Castello dal Pozzo highly enough. Everything flowed perfectly so it was a relaxed and memorable day. It is a truly beautiful place. Outstanding

Semplicemente una location da film!
Ho visitato il castello in occasione di un evento ed è davvero un posto speciale, come spero dimostrino le foto.
Visita super consigliata.

Delusione totale, devo partire così con la mia recensione.
Partiamo dal fatto che siamo andati io e mio marito con lo Smartbox regalatoci per il nostro matrimonio, regalo da 400 euro purtroppo sprecato avendo scelto questo posto.
Arrivati in questo hotel, dopo esserci fermati alle scuderie per capire dove entrare ci informano di proseguire mettendo la macchina nel garage e di andare alla reception.
Arrivati lì ci dicono che il garage e a pagamento di spostare la macchina alle scuderie e avendo un solo bagaglio ci viene fatto capire che non c’è bisogno che c’è li portano loro ma che ci possiamo arrangiare, ricordo che parliamo di un 5 stelle, personale che ci ha fatto sentire subito a disagio come se noi non eravamo all’altezza del posto essendo con uno Smartbox.
la camera aveva vista sulla casa del vicino con un rumore fastidioso di suoni che emetteva l’ascensore ogni volta che veniva chiamato e per ogni piano. Quindi tutto il giorno e sera.
La guida per il castello non si può avere perché solo il fine settimana fanno le visite guidate ma ovviamente non ci facevano prenotare ed ora sappiamo il perché.
Castello bello per quello che abbiamo potuto vedere peccato che non è lì che stai quindi niente a che vedere le foto messe che sembra che stai dentro, ma tu sei in un hotel a due passi.
La cena iniziamo con il cameriere che una volta detta il nostro numero di stanza, ci ricorda che siamo quelli dello Smartbox dicendolo abbastanza ad alta voce, non trovo il senso di questa cosa ma ok.
Un po’ lento all’inizio il servizio ma niente di rilevante. Mentre non si può non dare 5 stelle alla qualità del cibo della cena, complimenti alla cucina. Acqua 6 euro e 50 ci conveniva prendere una bella bottiglia di vino peccato che siamo astemi.
La colazione pessima, il succo di frutta acido sembrava quasi andato a male, chiesto uno waffle (messo nel menu) ma mi viene detto che non riescono a farlo, allora piuttosto toglietelo dal menù evitate queste cose. Brioche buone.
Quinti per concludere sicuramente non positiva la mia recensione (ricordiamo che ci hanno dato una camera che ad oggi controllata costa 280 euro e pagata 400)
Siamo andati in 5 stelle, ma addirittura tanti 4 stelle sono veramente molto meglio di questo.
Lati negativi: camera rumorosa, non poter fare la visita guidata, ha poco che c’entra con il castello, staff che ti guarda dall’alto in basso e colazione.
Lati positivi: cena, immerso nel verde e quiete.
Sicuramente non possiamo consigliarlo.
Le 2 ???? sono perché la cena era da 5 quindi ha salvato un po’ il voto altrimenti era 1 sicura.

Sono venuto per lavoro e il posto è bellissimo e curato nei particolari .
Personale e organizzazione pessimi almeno un bicchiere d'acqua per chi è lì a lavorare....

Servizio di livello, attento e discreto, cibo delizioso, location spettacolare.

My husband and I stayed here for a couple of nights. Since we booked, the communication over email was excellent and the check-in process was smooth. The staff at Castello Dal Pozzo are kind, welcoming, and attentive!! We were very grateful for their hospitality. The rooms were clean as well as all the linens and towels :)

The rooms were as described however we had a couple problems in our room maybe due to it needing to be updated. The air conditioner was not working and the room was a bit stuffy. The fan in the AC vent turned on but the room did not actually cool down. It was overall okay because the weather was cool, but it wasn’t the most comfortable. The telephone was not working and we let them know pretty early on, but I don’t think they had the staff to check in on it and fix it, so every time we needed to make a reservation or had a question, we just had to go to the front desk instead of calling. Also not too bad since the hotel is small, but they said they would send someone and no one ever came. Lastly, the wifi was a bit spotty and was not locked or private, but I think that’s how wifi usually is at hotels. It was okay during the day, but when we were trying to cast from our phone to the tv, it would disconnect frequently.

We were bummed that it was drizzling outside pretty much the whole time we were there because they close the pool and the poolside bar on those days. We were looking forward to swimming and trying out the lunch options at the bar. Unfortunately, with the rain, there wasn’t much for us to do except walk and eat. The nearest town has a grocery store but not much else within walking distance. It may have just been bad timing on our part.

There were a lot of great things though! Such as: they helped us arranged a time taxi pickup to take us to the train station, they had fresh fruit in the rooms, included breakfast with lots of options and very delicious! They packed us to-go breakfast boxes since our flight left before the breakfast buffet opened. And food and service was excellent, though quite expensive!! The grounds were very well kept and clean and walking around the property was beautiful. The beds were comfy and overall we felt very safe on the property.

La classe di un luogo fuori dalla routine delle "locations" immerso in un fantastico parco

Wir wurden zu diesem Anwesen eingeladen.
Service mega klasse, Hotel sehr interessant und sauber.
Patricia hat alles gegeben. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.
Die Lage ist richtig toll.

Leider wurde unser Reisepass und der Personalausweis verlegt. Keiner war verantwortlich für diese Misere.

Dennoch haben sich alle sehr lieb gekümmert.

Das 6,50€ Wasser war auch richtig lecker ????????

Je ne comprends vraiment pas les commentaires négatifs. Les chambres sont parfaites (comme sur les photos, c'est sur que le style n'est pas moderne mais on le sait avant d'y aller). La gentillesse du personnel, le bon accueil, la propreté, la superbe piscine et le petit-déjeuner sont top.

Wir waren eine Woche hier war alles Top.
Wir laufen gerne und sind am Abend nach Arona gelaufen dort ist auch was los allerdings geht der Weg durch ein dunkles Waldstück etwas bergauf war trotzdem sehr schön dort wir kommen sicher wieder.
Zu erwähnen ist auch der kostenlose Parkplatz da haben wir sonst immer min 10 € am Tag Parkgebühren bezahlt.

Superlativo! Quest’anno per ferragosto siamo stati ospiti per cena in compagnia di amici presso il ristorante DAN, direi tutto preparato affinché ci si senta a casa propria con l’aggiunta di un’atmosfera unica e piatti sempre curati. Musica dal vivo per niente invadente e la magia di un parco tenuto alla perfezione. Grazie ancora a Guendalina che malgrado la giornata lavorativa è passata a farci un saluto, un valore aggiunto molto apprezzato.
