Excellent food and service for our group. Steak (chateau briand for 2 diners) was well prepared and tender. There were sauces to go with (sparingly) that added great accents.

Asked if they were doing 2 for 1 cocktails and the waiter said yes. Ordered a cocktail from the board that said 2 for 1 and nothing was said.

When I went to pay I was told that my cocktail wasn’t included despite being on the board that said 2 for 1. We questioned the bartender and said it was on the board for the deal and he refused.

To top it off something was burning and it smelled so bad staff were coughing and had to open a window. Definitely don’t recommend.

Seemed like it’d be a great place to sit down outside. Went inside, asked for menus and let them know we’d be sitting out there. After several, several minutes, and two different waiters servicing other tables and making eye contact with me, neither had bothered to acknowledge us. We opted to give up and go elsewhere.

I took the menus inside to return them, and let the gentleman know why we were leaving. Here comes the part that warrants the review…at first he said absolutely nothing, and so I said again we’re leaving because no one came over to us. He said “very busy”. The inside of the restaurant was borderline empty (less than 10 people). The upstairs bar had more people but it’s own staff there. The waiter simply made it up the reason.

Absolutely loved it! Just went for a drink after Dinner and sat myself at the bar. Drinks were great and the bartenders were fun. Shout out to the Bartender Eddie, he did a great job and is a great Entertainer loved him<3

We recently had the pleasure of experiencing Fade Street Social’s early evening menu, and it was nothing short of fantastic. Excellent food, priced at €39 for 3 courses I think it’s a great value in the center of Dublin. Service was friendly and attentive, we’ve got some good wine recommendations from Davorin. We'll definitely be back to explore their full menu soon!

No idea what the food is like because we sat down for a reservation and waited 25 minutes only to be completely ignored by the waiters - we didn't even get a drinks menu, so we walked out

Went on Easter Sunday, was quiet and completely empty when we arrived in the lower section but they sat up right next to the waiters bit so they were always bustling next to us which was a touch disturbing. Got the vegetarian pie for Sunday roast, the menu says comes with trimmings but doesn’t specify this is just meat option I guess, so if you thought you were order a vegetarian roast then think again! It was a skillet with vegetables and a pie top for €20, extremely lack lustre and nothing special. The diet cokes were also absolutely tiny for 3.50. Service was fine. Haven’t had such a mid restaurant experience in a long while and not in Dublin. Wouldn’t recommend.

I am absolutely appalled by the experience. Booked a table for 7pm at cocktail bar and were drinking some mocktails. Waitress came 1.10h to our table to claim the table for others, even though there where some other tables to sit on...
The approach and handling absolutely not ok.
Of course we paid a high bill for non alcohol cocktails...
I never experienced this in my life before..
That's my last visit to Fade Street.

I got a voucher for xmas. As soon as I arrived I told the front desk I had it, they gave us the set menu. The food was OK, very rich with not a lot of contrast in flavours. The dessert was very bad. Chocolate mousse was grainy and more like a chocolate milkshake. The pavlova was very raw, eggy, and tasteless. We were served by a staff that did not have a good comprehension of English and kept going to the manager to ask what was going on I suppose? I got the bill and was charged the full bill even though I said I had a voucher again. The staff told us to just subtract and get the bill, seems strange. We were also inexplicably charged €12 service for 2 people which I have never heard of. To top off the terrible experience one of the staff members followed me to the busy door and stopped me to ask me for a picture of the voucher, like we were skipping out in the bill. I have been going here since the tapas days and it is a real fall from grace. I would not go back.

Thank you FSS great food great atmosphere and the manager on duty could not have been nicer .

They have a lovely bar upstairs.

Saturday nights are great
