Our honeymoon scuba diving experience with this outfitter was absolutely unforgettable, largely thanks to our amazing guide, Anna. From the moment we met, Anna made us feel like VIPs, taking special care to ensure every moment of our dive was magical. Her expertise and attention to detail were evident as she guided us through the underwater wonderland, always prioritizing our safety and comfort. What truly made our experience extraordinary was Anna's thoughtful gesture of capturing stunning photos of us throughout the dive, creating unforgettable memories of our honeymoon adventure. Anna's passion, professionalism, and personalized touch made this outing the highlight of our honeymoon. We can't thank her and the outfitter enough for such an incredible experience!

Stayed there for a week and what a beautiful place to relax. Loved the fact it was small and not too many people.
The food was amazing and even though there was no choices we always looked forward to a surprise.
Those ladies can cook great food and work so hard.
The 2 bartenders were great and so friendly too.
We dived 4 days and was excellent great location right on the beach.
It was a perfect place to unwind and enjoy all the wildlife.
It was hard to leave. Thanks for a memorable time

Wir haben 5 Nächte über Weihnachten im Pirate Cove verbracht. Das Essen war super fein und auch der Service hervorragend. Die Zimmer sind sehr zweckmäßig eingerichtet und die Aussicht traumhaft. Sehr zu empfehlen.

We stayed here in 2021. I'm a little late reviewing. We loved it though. The rooms were quiet and private with great views of the bay, but felt a little dated. The meals at the hotel were delicious and staff was very friendly. It's right on the beach. The hotel seemed to have a lot of German connections, so if you speak German that might be a benefit. We took a snorkel tour of Cano Island from the hotel (tour company picked us up. The hotel helped with the arrangements).

Comida muy rica, habitaciones limpias y confortables, muy buena atención al cliente. A pesar de su lejanía vale por completo la experiencia. Unas verdaderas vacaciones. Además recomiendo el tour de snorkeling. Guías muy informativos y amables. Ballenas, delfines, tortugas, tiburones... todo lo vimos aquí.

Beautiful location. Lots of birds and some mammals. The quality of the food was not always on point. Staff however was very nice and rooms were super clean.
We took the boat from Sierpe to get there which was a nice (and fast) tour through the mangrove and sea. If you are lucky you can spot some crocodiles.

Wir haben in diesem Hotel nicht gewohnt, aber möchten eine Bewertung für den netten Service hinterlassen. Als wir mit einem Kayak auf dem Meer waren und vom Gewitter erwischt wurden, sind wir im Private Cove gestrandet, es wurde unsere Notlage ernst genommen und uns sehr freundlich geholfen, aus der Situation zu kommen, den Kayakverleih zu kontaktieren etc. Einen kostenlosen Kaffee gab es auch noch. Wir waren sehr dankbar über diese Hilfe obwohl wir nicht einmal Gäste des Hotels waren.

Ein tolles familiengeführtes Hotel mit super Atmosphäre. Sehr abenteuerliche Anreise, auf der wir bereits Tierbeobachtungen machen konnten. Tolle Bungalows direkt am Strand. Das Essen gehört zu den Besten, die wir auf der Reise hatten. Das Personal ist unheimlich freundlich. Wir haben einen tollen Ausflug in den Corcovado Nationalpark und zur Isla del Cano zum Schnorcheln gemacht. Super netter Dive Guide! Insgesamt eine echte Empfehlung!

Dit is een gezellig hotelletje waar je persoonlijk wordt behandeld. Barman Francisco liet ons gezin erg welkom voelen en gaf ons allevier een fijne warme persoonlijke behandeling. Wij hadden de simpele kamers in het hoofdgebouwtje. Grote voordeel van deze kamers zijn de airco. Voor de gezelligheid ga je beneden in het eetdeel zitten om een spelletje te spen of aan het zwembadje voor een verfrissende plons en een heerlijk door barman Francisco gemaakt drankje.
Het ligt leuk aan een eigen baai waar we ook lekker in zee gezwommen hebben. We kwamen er per boot via Sierpe en hebben ook per boot mooie excursies gemaakt: met gids door Corcovado NP en dagje snorkelen bij Island del Cano.
De maaltijden waren voor ons inbegrepen in Volpension arrangement. Kwaliteit van het eten was redelijk goed. Kok Concelo doet zijn best en komt elke avond even vragen of alles naar wens was. Ontbijt was goed en als iets op is wordt het direct vers bijgemaakt.

Wij hebben een fantastisch verblijf gehad bij Pirate Cove. Alle medewerkers zijn zo aardig en gastvrij. De maaltijden zijn geweldig, vooral de lunch en het diner. Het is heerlijk om aan tafel te gaan en een mooi opgemaakt bord te krijgen. Er wordt met veel liefde voor de gasten gekookt.
Onze kamer was eenvoudig, maar goed schoon en de airco deed het prima.
De locatie is heel mooi en ook de excursies zijn fantastisch geweest: wandelen in het nationale park en snorkelen bij Isla del Caño.
Kortom: het is de lange en uitdagende autorit meer dan waard. Bedankt voor alle medewerkers!

Wonderful property. Well kept, beautiful landscape, steps to the beach. Room#11 was perfect for an couple. Nice patio with hammock and view of river and ocean. Breakfast included, lunch and dinner for purchase. All meals were surprisingly very good and beautifully presented. Staff was professional and friendly making sure we were prepared for our tours. They also picked us up at the beach upon arrival from our wet landing boat ride from Sierpe. 1 mile walk into town or front desk will call a taxi $10, you can also rent a ATV to get around town. I was a bit hesitant to book as the hotel requires payment through a link sent via email even though we booked with Expedia, my bank originally denied the payment as a foreign transaction but it went through after 2nd attempt and confirming with my bank. All was well. I recommend this property an d we would stay here again if in the area.
