Un hôtel 4 étoiles, géré par le groupe autrichien Falkensteiner, bien conçu pour les familles, les amoureux du confort sobre, de l'eau et des animations sportives : 250 chambres familiales spacieuses bien aménagées, avec garderie professionnelle, nombreux divertissements & aires de jeux, un parc aquatique deux piscines, intérieure et extérieure, toboggans. Pour les amateurs de relaxation, le SPA Flora Acquapura, un univers de bien-être et bienfait aquatique, couvre une superficie de 2 000 m2. Nombreuses activités, bar, restaurant. Un autre établissement 4-étoiles, à 3 km de la vieille ville, est tout aussi bien équipé.

Nice hotel with friendly stuff, clean rooms, great playroom and pools for young visitors

We stayed at the Falkensteiner Diadora hotel for two nights as a family with a four-year-old (room
2221). We particularly enjoyed the food and the service, which were truly on a 5-star level. The kids' entertainment was also great, although the big indoor pool could have been warmer. Nonetheless, our daughter really enjoyed it, and the animation staff was excellent. Unfortunately, there was a bitter ending to our stay when we noticed that €100 were missing from my wallet. I am aware that this was my fault for not using the safe, but I was confident that such an incident could not happen in a 5-star hotel. I am writing this to raise awareness so that future guests can avoid such an inconvenience. Despite this, we still recommend the hotel overall!

Fazit: Tolles Spa Hotel mit fantastischem Spa mit kleinen Mankos
Positives:
-) sensationeller Spa-Bereich (alles in schwarz gehalten mit architektonischen Highlights)
-) tolles Hamam und auch tolle Hamam-Behandlungen
-) gutes und vielfältiges Buffet
-) netter Service
-) schönes Zimmer mit gutem Ausblick (das nicht abtrennbare Badezimmer muss man allerdings mögen)
-) Hunde erlaubt ????
-) toller Entertainment-Komplex (Bowling,..., Fitnesscenter) und tolle Außenanlage für Tennis
Verbesserungswürdig:
-) Temperatur in den Spa-Pools (es war Ende März). Zumindest die 2 Pools im Adults-Only Bereich (beim Hamam und das Whirlpool) müssten 3-4 Grad wärmer sein, um darin verweilen zu wollen
-) im ganzen Hotel kleine Defekte (WC-Papier-Halter, Türgriffe, in den Damentoiletten die unnötigen Ablagen, die alle schon schief hängen)
-) größtes Manko: im ganzen Hotel-Komplex (sprich in 3 großen Hotels nebeneinander) gibt es nur 3 Ladestationen für Elektroautos!!! Das ist nicht mal ansatzweise zeitgemäß und mühsam, da es die nächste Ladestation erst in Zadar gibt
-) Cocktails haben nicht gemundet, ganz anders geschmeckt als üblich

NO! Whoever gave them 5* received a big bribe!
Let's begin:
- Parking: a good 150m away from hotel. Yes, you don't need to carry your bags, but still, you need to run to your car on a rainy day. Good thing in summer, it's an underground parking.
- rooms: an avarage 4* rooms, but if you pay attention to the mold in the shower pictures, it's actually a 3* room. There are no bathroom doors, so when you go to bathroom in the night you will definitely wake your kids. Light above children bed is so close to the head that it is impossible for kid not to hit it when he wakes up. (Architect deserves a prison sentence for this)
- indor pool: very small pool for a 5* hotel.
- sauna: only smal steam and finish saunas. I've seen better wellness in 4* hotels!
- gym: this is one of two things that deserves 5 stars, but they failed there too. (Read more for the reason)
The gym is equipped with the latest high tech gym equipment, and it has more then 600 square meters. But they still have the cleaning ladies in the gym while people are working out! Gym starts at 07:00 and they were vacuuming the gym until 07:45, while three of us in there!
- food: second thing that deserves 5*. A variety of the international cuisine.
Final thoughts:
The manager should visit some of the 4* hotels on Croatian cost that have better rooms, pools, wellness than Diadora has. Maybe they will make some improvements!
An avarage 4* hotel, for a price of a 5* hotel!
