Très bel endroit au calme et a seulement 15 min d Aix. La chambre offre tout le confort que l on peut attendre de ce genre d établissement. Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour.

Arrived and were assigned a beautiful room in the older, restored ‘Bastide’ building, but heating was not working, so we were moved to the ‘Apartment’ building, much less charming, but practical because it had a kitchenette and washing machine to do our laundry. Weather was terrible so we didn’t profit from the beautiful grounds. Would return in warmer season if we wanted an enchanting property without need for kitchenette or washing machine. Also has parking. Country location, outside of town.

Beautiful B&B, fantastic facilities, very nice gardens, pool and room. Breakfast plentiful and an electric charger for our car. Perfect place to stay if you want to visit chateau La Coste.

Very nice people very nice stay

We loved the bastide de ganay, booked two nights, ended up staying for 3 as we adores it as soon as we arrived,you really feel at home and can move freely everywhere, two pools, surrounded by nature,friendly staff, kind and helpful.
We will definatly come back!

The person who greeted us (Margaret) was lovely and showed us to our rooms. I was disappointed because the rooms are not nearly as nice as they look online. Overall, the place could use some work/deep cleaning. Loose tiles everywhere on the floors, ants crawling in the kitchen, feet turn black when walking in the rooms.

The breakfast was fine, nothing to write home about. Again, it seems much better online or it may have changed in the last few years since Covid for the mediocre. There was a menu left with us saying that there was lunch/dinner, but upon further investigation no such thing exists. It is a bit sloppy to not pay attention to little details like that when catering to a boutique hotel experience.

Unfortunately, during our stay one of the rooms was completely without hot water for 2 days. When we reported it after the first night, a man went into the room, flipped the circuit box, and didn’t check if it worked again. Our mistake I suppose for it double checking his work. When we called in the evening on the second day after discovering it STILL didn’t work, they said there was no way to fix the water until the next day, only saying “they’ll come in the morning” and giving no time estimate. Since we are on vacation we don’t have the time to be waiting around for a repairman who may or may not show up. In addition, the air/fan didn’t work in our other room making it very stuffy.

Location wise it’s beautiful but a box of a drive from Aix. There are more convenient places to stay that are just as peaceful. The other thing that was a bit concerning was the lack of safety measures. It was 2300 and the front AND back doors were wide open, windows left open, etc. I understand we’re in the countryside but doesn’t that leave your guests vulnerable to theft? There was no staff person present after 7pm leaving it free range to whoever may come or go.

All in all, I would spend my money elsewhere. I think it may have been a better establishment pre-Covid from what I’ve seen online but just hasn’t recovered and is an artifact of the BnB it once was. It’s a quaint place but it doesn’t justify the price tag at all.

c'est un endroit reposant avec un personnel à votre service et très agréable, le petit déjeuner un service égal à la qualité des produits, pour une petite faim des produits à vôtre disposition plus que correct, on y reviendra.

Ein Traum inmitten von Eichen, Pinien und duftenden Blumen. Hier kommen wir wieder. Ein Ort der Ruhe und des Runterkommens. Lesen, mit den Kindern im Pool planschen oder eines der leckeren Gerichte des Hauses probieren, hier passt alles. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und stets bereit, den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Das Frühstück ist eines der besten, das wir in der Provence kennengelernt haben. Schon beim Zubettgehen freut man sich auf den schönen Morgen mit Croissants, Rührei, Milchkaffee, lecken Käse und frische Säften. Hier sollte man mal übernachten um die Atmosphäre zu fühlen. Das ist für uns Urlaub.

Our stay was just perfect. The room, garden and both pools had been very clean and beautiful. Very nice breakfast. The manager (Christoph) was very friendly and helpful with advice for restaurants, beaches and cities in south France. It is definitely a place to return and to recommend.

Absolutely love this place! We are already planning on when we can return! The setting is perfect with some amazing michlen star restaurants right up the street!

C’est toujours un vrai plaisir de séjourner dans cette belle bastide pleine de charme. Tout y est parfait. L’atmosphère des lieux est magique, au milieu des pins et des cèdres. Les chambres sont d’un grand confort et décorées avec goût. L’accueil est attentionné et tout est fait pour que l’on s’y sente chez soi. Le goût du bonheur en Provence.

Extremely unfriendly, accusatory and unwelcoming staff: not flexible when it comes to changes or accommodation of requests, accusing you of arriving late, entering rooms without knocking multiple times and despite request not to do so, insinuating because you have a few rooms and no children you will come to party and make noise. Feedback is not welcome.

Rooms strongly smell of sewage, and are very loud: both what is happening in the corridor is amplified, and the Bastide is close to a street with a lot of cars driving by at night and no double-glaze.

Avoid if you are looking for a relaxed, friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

Soggiorno spettacolare. Location suggestiva nella villa del 1700 dotata di ben 2 piscine. Giardino incantevole e ottimamente curato dove fare splendide colazioni ma quello che ha reso il soggiorno unico è stato il servizio impeccabile del signor Antonio, attento e premuroso a qualsiasi minima richiesta. Il signor Antonio si prende cura della dimora e della clientela come fossero davvero suoi ospiti, preparando delle colazioni al tavolo genuine e fatte a mano. Ci si sente come a casa propria, torneremo sicuramente. Soggiorno consigliatissimo a chiunque voglia trascorrere dei giorni indimenticabili a Aix-en-Provence.

È decisamente un posto meraviglioso, inserito in un contesto da fiaba, gestito da personale attento e cordiale. Dispiace essere andati via.
