Ce couple de vignerons est.... Fantastique.
Dès les premières cuvées on est conquis.
Paul et Sarah bien que débutants dans cette exploitation riche de son passé nous promettent de belles vinifications.

A little gem of a winery in Cruscades, France, off the beaten path between Narbonne and Carcasson. Blink and you miss it, but you shouldn’t! The young vigneron couple, Paul and Sarah Refalo, who own the vineyards and manage the whole operation from gound up to tasting room, couldn’t be nicer or more welcoming. More important, they are obviously passionate about making very good, organic wine and they are extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of the process. And their wines are terrific! They are also interested in the history of winemaking in that part of the Lanquedoc and, as young “vignerons”, are seriously committed to the future of it in the Corbiéres region. Paul’s family has been making wine there for six generations. They have a wonderful story and seriously good wines. I took three bottles (Garden Song white, Ranch Rosé, and the Red Keys red) home to the States, which was all I could safely fit in my luggage. The family loved them all, especially the red! We hope the Clos de Cers label will soon be available in the US. If you want to visit, be sure to call or email ahead, since the tasting room isn’t open all the time. Paul and Sarah are happy to open by appointment, though, and also do vineyard tours for groups for a very reasonable price.

Excellent wines, very inviting tasting room - great place to learn about what makes this region so special in a hands-on way. Sarah and Paul have thoughtfully woven their family stories into their wines and their business. Highly recommend a stop by! Agree with what everyone here has said about great value for incredible wines

We visited Clos du Cers for a vineyard tour and tasting. Sarah and Paul warmly welcomed us and drove us the short way to the vines. There with the Pyrénées in the distance, Sarah explained the different grape varieties they grow and the different soils within their land. Paul gave us a pruning demonstration before we enjoyed a fantastic rosé at a cute seating area in the winter sun. Back at the winery, we made our way through a tasting of Clos du Cers's Corbières range and innovative wines accompanied by a board of meat and cheese. We absolutely loved hearing about Sarah and Paul's story and how their family histories coupled with a modern twist and organic techniques inspired their very special wines. We left having spent a lovely few hours chatting and tasting, learning and laughing. We thoroughly recommend a visit to Clos du Cers.
